Each student is required to observe in some type of
Special Education placement (e.g., general education
classroom with special education students in it, resource
room, self-contained room, etc.) for a minimum of 10 hours.
The observations cannot be completed in your own classroom.
Students will need to find their own classrooms to observe in
and then send a letter from the school (signed by principal
and cooperating teacher) stating the number of hours that
were completed. If this requirement cannot be met then maybe
another class should be considered.
